About GGCA

Brief History and Description

Greater Grace Christian Academy is a church-based Christian school. It was founded by Greater Grace Church in Baltimore, Maryland and registered by the State of Maryland in 1988. GGCA is a member of the Maryland Association of Christian Schools. We aim to prepare students for their future whatever the Lord may lead them to do. Many of our students go on to Bible College and into Christian service roles. Others have attended and graduated from universities and colleges whether Christian or secular.

Serving Baltimore

The outreach goal of GGCA is to serve Christian families in Baltimore by providing the best possible Christian education for a reasonable price. Our trained and dedicated teachers and staff labor with the Lord Jesus Christ each day for the sake of the children. It is our ministry to train children in the love and admonition of the Lord. We endeavor to provide the highest level of care and instruction to each student according to each one's unique design and needs.

Serving the Nations

GGCA has not only served the families of the Christian community here in Baltimore but has also been an example and a catalyst for the formation of other Christian schools around the world. Missionaries of Greater Grace Church have planted churches that have in turn, with the help of GGCA, founded schools in their respective countries. Our school is enriched by the close relationship we share with these schools.

Our Educational Mission

Our mission is to disciple young people, by word and example, in the Spirit of God to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.

Greater Grace will minister to parents by assisting them in fulfilling their God-given responsibility to train their children.

We provide a Christ-centered, Bible-based environment and curriculum through which our students acquire the skills needed to succeed in life.
